An English Border stronghold and strategic crossing point of the River Tweed, the history and people of Norham have been a lifelong interest.

Here I can indulge in my passion verging on obsession for the village of Norham.  With family connections dating from the early 1700's I have been visiting from the minute I could drive.  Now living just over the River Tweed at Lennel I pass through the village on an almost daily basis the fascination never wanes.

I now aim to delve deeper into the early records to better understand the relationships between not only families, but of the land and the water, one of the most famous salmon rivers in the World.

This page is very much in its infancy, so keep an eye open for new developments.
